Membership of Falmouth Tall Ships Association

Many of us felt that Tall Ships should regularly grace our port with their beauty and to this end, “Friends of Falmouth Tall Ships” were formed and are dedicated to raising money so that vessels such as Mir and Kruzenshtern can be fully funded during their stay in our port (it can often cost over £5000).  While the ships are here we take their sail training cadets out for the day to show them Cornwall and arrange for the public to visit the ships.  Often we are allowed to hold receptions on board.

These visits are possible because of the marvellous support from A & P  Falmouth Ltd at the Docks and Falmouth Harbour Commissioners but we need a dedicated band of “Friends” who will support our efforts.

As a “Friend” you will receive newsletters during the year with details of the ships which will visit Falmouth together with information about Tall Ships in general.  You will be able to buy tickets at a discount for any reception on board visiting ships.  Corporate members will have the opportunity to advertise during the visits and will receive 5 free tickets for any of the receptions.

We would welcome your support so that we may continue to bring these beautiful vessels to our port.
