Why Sail on a Tall Ship?
Sailing on a Tall Ship is the adventure of a lifetime. Make new friends, experience the unique style of teamwork required to keep the ship on course, discover problem-solving skills you never knew you had, and find muscles and courage you've never used before. A voyage on a tall ship allows you to experience the raw power and beauty of the sea.
The Race
Falmouth is hosting the start of the Funchal 500 Regatta. The fleet will race from Falmouth in September 2008 to Port of Aveiro in Ílhavo, Portugal, before a second race to Funchal, Madeira.
